What is Safari S.P.I.C.E.?

Safari S.P.I.C.E. is a web-based weekly activity planner and family engagement tool based on a combination of  tried and true activities and current research within the early childhood profession.

These activities align with play-based curriculums, child-led experiences, and current early childhood development research.  Each activity includes ideas for extension, and has been “S.P.I.C.E.d” to support growth in the five developmental domains as outlined by the Offord Centre’s Early Development Instrument: Social, Physical, Interactive, Cognitive, and Emotional development.
